Is the collection available to order?

Yes. The first Yurua collection is available now. You can browse all current pieces on the Shop page and order directly from each product page.

Where does the name Yurua come from?

From the Juruá, a river that runs more than three thousand kilometres through the western Amazon before joining the Solimões. Slow, patient water that carries what it gathers a very long way. You can read more on the About page.

Where do the stones come from?

Brazil. Amethyst, citrine and green amethyst (prasiolite) from Brazilian quartz. Where a stone is commonly heat-treated (notably citrine and prasiolite), we say so in plain language on the product page.

What is the Yurua Community?

The Yurua Community is for people who want to stay close to the brand new pieces, stone stories, studio notes and early access to future small releases. It is free to join and it is not a waitlist. Join the community here.

Does Yurua jewellery heal, balance energy, or raise vibration?

No. Yurua does not make medical, psychological or energetic claims. Meaning lives in the wearer. In crystal traditions, certain stones have long been associated with particular qualities — we name those associations as tradition only, never as an effect the jewellery produces.

Why is “Healing” in the name?

The name draws on a tradition of carrying meaning close to the body. It is not a promise of cure, treatment or change. Our contrast is simple: meaning, not metaphysics.

Is the metal solid or plated?

Solid only. 18 karat gold (750) or sterling silver (925). We do not use vermeil, gold fill or plating for our pieces.

Who is this for?

People who want real fine jewellery with a reason — colour and symbolism without woo. Most pieces are bought to wear yourself, close and often. Gifts are welcome; they are not the lead story.

How should I care for gemstone jewellery?

Store pieces separately, avoid impact and contact with perfume or household chemicals, and remove jewellery before swimming, sport or showering. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
